The Burro Negro and Tulé Water Systems, located on the East Coast of the Lake and the Mara municipality, respectively, were optimized through the Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care and the HIDROVEN crews, in order to guarantee the supply of vital liquid to 950,000 families in these localities.

The technical brigades carried out priority interventions in both strategic infrastructures to resolve faults and stabilize pumping, according to the newsletter of the hydrological company in Zulia, reported the Venezolana de Televisión website.

In the Burro Negro system, the multidisciplinary team corrected a fault in the suction cup of the 66-inch diameter main pipe in the Campo Lara sector, located in the Lagunillas municipality.

The works made it possible to recover a flow of 20 liters per second and guarantee a reliable service for 350,000 families distributed in the coastal municipalities of Cabimas, Simón Bolívar, Santa Rita and Lagunillas.

Simultaneously, the operating personnel completed the maintenance and fault correction work at the Tulé pumping station, with the reduction from 120 to 72 inches intervening.
