The National Electoral Institute (INE) reported that Claudia Sheinbaum, the candidate for the presidency of Mexico for the Let's Keep Making History coalition, won the official victory by accumulating 35.9 million votes (59.75 percent) after counting 100 percent of the minutes corresponding to the district counts.

The leader of the Morena, Verde and Labor parties increased her advantage over her closest rival, the one proposed by the National Action (PAN), Institutional Revolutionary (PRI) and Democratic Revolution (PRD) parties, Xóchitl Gálvez.

Gálvez counted 16.5 million people in the June 2 elections, equivalent to 27.45 percent of the total number of votes cast.

For his part, the candidate of the Citizen Movement, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, ranked third with 6.2 million votes, equivalent to 10.32 percent.
