Last Monday, the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), received his successor, Claudia Sheinbaum, at the headquarters of the National Palace to hold the first meeting on the transition of government.

“It was very interesting and emotional to talk with the virtual president-elect of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. We are friends and together with millions of companions and companions, from below and together, we began the Fourth Transformation for the good of our beloved people,” wrote AMLO through the social network X.

The president-elect and López Obrador agreed to approve the reform of the law of the Institute for Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), as well as the reform of the Judiciary and the granting of scholarships in basic education and support for women between 60 and 64 years of age.
