The C.A. Metro de Caracas reminded citizens of the rules of coexistence within the system, including the prohibition of entering pets and unrestricted access for assistance animals, in order to maintain a safe and harmonious environment for users.
In a statement released on social networks, the agency explained that pets are not allowed to enter in accordance with user regulations, a provision that seeks to protect both people and animals, by preventing the high traffic, noise and dynamics of trains from generating stress or incidents. In contrast, assistance or companion animals have guaranteed access as long as they have their current certificate and identification.
The institution also categorically rejected any act of physical or verbal aggression against its staff, following the recent incident at the Gato Negro station, where an operator was affected in the exercise of her duties. The Metro reported that medical care protocols and legal support before the competent authorities were immediately activated.
It also supported the daily work of operators and operators, who ensure compliance with regulations designed to ensure a safe and efficient transfer. The organization called for strengthening Metro Culture with mutual respect, empathy and citizen responsibility in each of its spaces.
