The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that Venezuela is in the process of overcoming the difficult phase due to illegal sanctions and the United States blockade against the country.
“We are already improving step by step and we are leaving the worst times behind so that future times of prosperity, stability and freedom and of well-being for the people come,” he emphasized.
He stressed that these objectives “we must achieve it with union, with conscience, spiritual and moral strength”.
“I walk from town to town, on a daily pilgrimage all over Venezuela, with love for the people,” he said.
The statement was made in El Vigía, in the Alberto Adriani municipality, in the state of Mérida, where the people mobilized in support of the head of state and in rejection of the United States blockade against Venezuela, and received him with great joy and emotion.
He stated that he had faith in the good people of El Vigía. “May the peasants live, the women, the youth, may the warriors live,” he said.
He also ratified the need to strengthen the 1x10, to achieve the candidate's victory, which is the only one that guarantees peace, stability, independence and democracy in the country, “that candidate is called Nicolás Maduro Moros”.
