MÉRIDA - ALBERTO ADRIANI /Head of State announces installation of first solar farm to generate electricity

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a meeting with Chavista militants from the town of El Vigía, in the state of Mérida, announced the installation in this entity of a solar plant for the generation of 50 megawatts of electricity.
“I decided along the way to install, in El Vigía, the first solar power generation plant to generate 50 Megawatts (MW),” said the head of state.
He added that this will be the first solar energy farm in the country and it comes from China.
