The delegation of the National Assembly (AN) that participated in the 30th International Seminar “Parties and a New Society”, held in Mexico City from October 8 to 10, managed to spread the truth about Venezuela to more than 300 delegates from 100 political parties and organizations from various countries.

This was indicated by the second vice-president of the Permanent Committee on Foreign Policy, Sovereignty and Integration, deputy Ilienia Medina, during an interview given this Thursday on La Iguana TV. “I believe that the objectives were achieved. Among them, talking about the truth about Venezuela,” said the parliamentarian.

Medina highlighted that the deputies Jesús Fanía and Tania Díaz forcefully stated the political, economic and social reality of the country. “They forcefully exposed the reality that is currently being experienced in Venezuela,” he said, specifying that the narrative against the country is promoted by external factors.

The parliamentarian added that the day in Mexican territory constituted a strategic space for the exercise of diplomacy by peoples, using international platforms to make visible the country's advances, achievements and challenges.

He also highlighted the importance of strengthening geopolitical relations in Latin American spaces of debate that promote truth, peace and solidarity with the Venezuelan cause. The activity, organized by the Labor Party of Mexico, addressed issues such as socioeconomic models and sovereignty, the fight against neofascism and the crisis of democracy, geopolitics and international crisis, as well as the political situation in Venezuela, political persecution in Latin America and Mexican humanism.
