Medical day benefited more than 200 inhabitants in Guárico

A total of 230 inhabitants of the community La Bendición de Dios, located in the Leonardo Infante municipality, benefited during a comprehensive medical day jointly promoted by the Simón Bolívar Comprehensive Community Health Area (ASIC), the Dr. Rafael Zamora Arévalo Hospital and the Social Development Department.
According to a press release, the healthcare approach was developed under the guidelines and care policies issued by the governing body for health, aimed at strengthening the National Public Health System (SPNS) and ensuring healthcare coverage in the most vulnerable sectors of the region.
During the day, general medicine, nutrition and pediatric consultations were offered for the comprehensive control of boys and girls. The activity also included the application of doses of vaccines to complete the immunization schedule.
It is important to mention that the pharmacy service guaranteed the delivery of a total of 1,292 units of drugs intended to treat both acute and chronic pathologies.
