Inhabitants of all ages in blocks 17 and 18 of the La Cañada sector of the 23 de Enero parish received two multipurpose courts, as part of the Mi Cancha Bella program, carried out by the mayor's office of Caracas in various communities in the capital.
Young people in the sector promote the preservation of these spaces and advise visitors and users to keep the places clean and cared for.
It is worth noting that the People's Power, organized in coordination with the national Government, recovers places for healthy recreation that the community values, since these works will improve the quality of life of all the inhabitants of the sector.
For her part, Mayor Carmen Meléndez said that these areas are being recovered for the enjoyment of children, young people and adults and at the same time, culture, sports and recreation are strengthened.
He said that the mayor's office is working with the People to advance the improvement of the habitat in each of the parishes. In the case of January 23, it handed over two courts and other works will be carried out. “It's recovery in its point and circle. Anything that is for use by the community,” he said.
These renovated spaces are designed to promote sports and recreation and benefit more than 800 families. This initiative seeks to create a healthy and active environment for everyone, especially for boys, girls and young people.
