The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, from the Tazón tollbooth, welcomed the units that arrived in the capital from the different states in the Great National Caravan Fury Bolivarian. “The people of Venezuela are respected and this is how the Bolivarian Fury enters Caracas today!” , he ruled.

“Since the early hours of the morning we have been welcoming the whole country. Aragua, the cradle of the Revolution, is coming, and so in a fraternal way we welcome it. Today is the Day of Dignity and the People must remember a for now that became a forever one. Today we can say that we have a responsibility to maintain that for now. We have resisted for many years and we are still (...) developing a 2024 that will also be victorious,” he said.

For her part, the governor of Aragua, Karina Carpio, stressed that “we started very early in one of the most beautiful rallies we have participated in. That 4F a group of young people took to these streets with their libertarian ideals, revolutionary principles of faith and hope that - now when they are no longer so young - but they are a generation that is waking up every day. That is the real legacy. Today we say to our president Maduro as Commander Chávez said: We haven't plowed in the sea.”
