The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that Panteón Avenue is one of the roads rehabilitated thanks to the Caracas Plan, which celebrates 200 days of activities aimed at transforming the capital.

Through his social networks, Meléndez specified that these spaces are part of the intervention carried out in the 21 main avenues of Caracas. “As a result, we installed two security points here to monitor compliance with schedules in the disposal of solid waste,” he explained.

Meléndez highlighted that the jurisdiction has two collection points in the area, where vehicles collect about nine tons of waste and debris every day.

The mayor pointed out that in addition to these activities are the daily cleaning and maintenance of the road, including sidewalks, various spaces, wall painting, signage and maintenance of the traffic light network.

Finally, he reminded citizens of the established schedules for waste management. “It is important to remember that from 5 to 6 in the morning and from 6 to 7 at night it is allowed in Caracas to remove waste and waste, both from businesses and homes,” he concluded.
