The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, inspected the Urigain building this Friday, in the Altagracia parish, and spoke with the neighbors about the next steps for its reconstruction, after being certified with a red label by the Presidential Commission.
“We came to the Urigain building, in the Altagracia parish, to talk to the neighbors about this property, which is certified with a red label by the Presidential Commission, and we let them know what the next steps to take will be,” Meléndez said in a post on his social networks.
The mayor indicated that, together with representatives of the Presidential Commission, she listened to community spokespersons and spoke about the technical report and the project that will give way to the reconstruction work through the Venezuela Renace Plan.
Meléndez stressed that the Mayor's Office of Caracas will accompany the process, which will benefit 102 families, and noted that all buildings that deserve it will be serviced in the same way.
