With regard to the religious festivities of Holy Week 2024, a Cultural Toma and Traditional Games were held on Paseo Los Próceres in Caracas for the enjoyment of children and young people in the city, which was attended by the mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez.

Speaking to Venezolana de Televisión, he stressed that “it is already a tradition for our young people, boys and girls to keep recreating themselves in the Holy Week agenda that took place from last Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, yesterday we were in the Nazarene of São Paulo and today everyone is enjoying traditional games”.

The activity included the presentation of maxi games, face paints, inflatable mattresses, dances, dance, swimming pool, among others.

Meléndez said that “this is all the recreation that the family needs and our historic center of the city is still full of visitors on their tour of the 7 temples.”

He also said that “since the management policies of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, the Mayor's Office of Caracas, the Paseo de Los Próceres has become a place to achieve healthy leisure where the Venezuelan family can share in love and union.”

Meléndez, in his account on the social network X, highlighted that recreational activities in Los Próceres will also be taking place this Good Friday, March 29, “so we are waiting for you”.
