Mass protests took place this Saturday night in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, as well as in other cities in the country.
Thousands of demonstrators in Israel demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; new elections and a prisoner exchange agreement in the Gaza Strip were reported this Saturday by international news agencies and portals.

In Tel Aviv, some 120,000 people have attended a demonstration in support of Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas 100 days ago, according to The Times of Israel. The protest, organized by the Missing Families and Hostages Forum, will last 24 hours.

The RT portal reported that at the same time as the rally in support of the hostages' families, in protests elsewhere in the city, the participants briefly blocked the central highway of Tel Aviv Ayalon and tried to block other nearby roads.
