Maritime interdiction operation successfully executed in waters of the Caribbean Sea

The Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), issued a statement this Friday, October 16, in which it reported that, in compliance with national and international commitments against drug trafficking, a maritime interdiction operation was successfully carried out in waters of the Caribbean Sea.

The letter states that the procedure was carried out by the Special Anti-Drug Unit (UEA-45 La Guaira) of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) , in coordination with the Coast Guard of the Bolivarian Navy and through the exchange of intelligence with the French National Navy.
