María León is a force of the Fatherland

The social fighter and lawyer, María de Lourdes León Gibory, is 87 years old. From a very young age, she was a member of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), from the age of 20, inspired by the struggle of her cousin José Esteban Ruiz Guevara.

María León was honored by the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution Hugo Chávez, who showed his great affection, admiration and respect during his lifetime.

“María is a force of the Fatherland, the integrity of Venezuelan women, she knows how to go all the way because she did know what a human being has, to expose her own life,” said Diosdado Cabello Rondón during a Con El Mazo Dando broadcast.
