Margarita's Novena Bravos announces Claudio Custodio as the pitcher for the coming season

Dominican right-handed pitcher Claudio Custodio returns to Venezuela wearing the uniform of Bravos de Margarita, as part of the import for the 2024-2025 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

“Custodio already knows our league and most of the players, not only because of his experience in the winter, but also because of his time in the Major League. It's going to be a very important and useful part of our group of pitchers,” said the general manager of the insulars, Yves Hernández through his press office.

This is the third campaign in the LVBP, where he has already worn the Tigres de Aragua uniform a couple of times, and the first with the people of Margarita. For his part, the pitcher said that “it means a lot to be able to be back in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League, since I have been getting used to it, both in winter and summer. I feel comfortable here, like at home.”

Custodio set a 2-1 record with a 4.70 ERA and a WHIP of 1.62, wearing the Tigres de Aragua uniform last season. Also, this year saw action in the Major League of Professional Baseball, with Centauros de La Guaira, for the second time, with whom he had 3 wins and 2 losses, 6.66 ERA and WHIP of 1.52.
