The Manuelita Sáenz Women's Movement issued a statement this Saturday, January 11, through which it expressed its full support to the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation and president of the Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services (CONVIASA), Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, who was sanctioned by the outgoing government of Joe Biden in the United States.

In the statement, they highlight: “Together with our courageous Minister, we received the news of this so-called “sanction” as a decoration to a patriotic minister, an unconditional soldier and defender of the sovereignty and self-determination of Venezuela. This aggression on the part of that government that is dying in the United States is just another absurdity.
