Nicolás Maduro, urged strengthening trust in honest and simple people, stressing that the people have the necessary wisdom to guide the new phase of rebirth in the country, according to a message posted on his social networks.

“Life has always shown us that everything we do with authenticity and honesty, supreme faith and conviction is capable of producing the force of the creative; it is capable of building and generating new experiences on a scale greater than those experienced,” said Maduro.

In his reflection, he referred to Confucius's philosophical principles on authenticity, as well as to biblical passages from the Gospel according to Saint Matthew and to historical communications by the Liberator Simon Bolivar of 1826, which highlight the decision-making capacity of ordinary people.

The Bolivarian leader emphasized that the spirit of these doctrines must continue to set the course of the nation, concluding with a message of faith and blessings for Venezuelan families at the end of a week that he described as great learning.
