Luis Pinto won the second stage of the 61st Vuelta a Venezuela

Venezuelan cyclist Luis Pinto, from the Mutrainning Banco Plaza team, won the Second Stage of the 61st of the Vuelta a Venezuela.
With a time of 2 hours 57 minutes 57 seconds, Pinto won this stage, on a 117-kilometer circuit between Valera and Trujillo
The second place was occupied by Alex Méndez, from the Alicanto Consulting Group team; while the third place was occupied by the representative of Team Medellín from Colombia, Javier Jamaica, according to the Ministry of Sports press.
For their part, David González and his teammate, Walter Vargas, both from Team Medellín, placed fourth and fifth respectively, all with the same time as the winner of the stage.
The overall standings are still dominated by David González, with an overall race time of 5:25:38 seconds; second place goes to Venezuelan Luis Mora with a difference of 8 seconds; third place goes to the winner of the second stage, Luis Pinto, with a difference of 43 seconds.
The third stage will take place this Tuesday, October 8, with a route of 203 kilometers and will be from the town of Monay in the state of Trujillo, to finish in the state of Lara, at the monument to the mantle of the Virgin of La Pastora.
