Love Yourself, Take Care of Yourself: GMVM and GMVJ join forces on a journey of health and joy

As part of the Love, Take Care, Examine yourself campaign, the Great Venezuelan Women's Mission (GMVM) organized the great dance therapy in honor of the International Day for the Fight against Breast Cancer, together with the Great Venezuelan Youth Mission (GMVJ) in the Plaza Juventud, located in Bellas Artes, Bolivarian Libertador municipality in Caracas.

In order to continue to honor the courageous women who defeated breast cancer, the GMVM also offered a day of comprehensive health care to ensure the protection and prevention of this pathology.

The head of the Ministry of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality (MinMujer) and head of the GMVM, Jhoanna Carrillo, said that in the Plaza de La Juventud, recently inaugurated by President Nicolás Maduro, she has been allowed to meet with women and men of the Matria Homeland, to promote healthy living, to continue strengthening “loving, caring for and examining you”, a campaign announced by the President and promoted by the GMVM.

“We believe that a healthy woman is a healthy family, is a healthy community. That's why, from here, it has allowed us to find each other, beyond political differences, we have to take care of ourselves,” he said.

In addition, he said that the President has made it possible to announce this campaign, so that physical activities are carried out in each territory and talk about good health.

In this regard, he reported that the GMVM will be deployed, at the national level, with more than 100 activities, promoted by all the governorates, mayors, the Ministry for Health and the Ministry of Youth, “to carry out activities like these on every court, in every square, that allow us to become active again, so that our body is filled with energy, optimism, enthusiasm and above all a healthy life,” he concluded.

Carmen Martínez thanked Minister Jhoanna Carrillo for having the initiative to organize dance therapy and in addition to making available a great day of health for all revolutionary women.

Laura Perdomo, said that “I am very happy with this activity, this Love, Care and Examine Yourself campaign is totally beautiful. I offer my solidarity with all the winning women who suffered from this terrible disease.” She was also grateful to Minister Jhoanna Carrillo and President Nicolás Maduro for taking Venezuelan women into account.
