On December 8, 2012, the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez Frías, made his last proclamation to urge the People to continue building the free, sovereign and independent Homeland that was beginning to be consolidated.

“My firm, full as the full Moon, irrevocable, absolute, total opinion is that you elect Nicolás Maduro as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, I ask you from my heart (...) Patriots of Venezuela, women and men, knee on the ground: Unity, Struggle, Battle and Victory”, was the Commander's proclamation 12 years ago and that a People, in love and loyalty to their legacy, has defended and honored all this time.

For this reason, today more than ever, as the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, says: “Loyalty went from being an individual value to a collective value of the People.”

The men and women of Venezuela, 12 years after that proclamation, remain committed to the Bolivarian Revolution to continue making their homeland.
