Librería del Sur reactivated its headquarters in El Tocuyo, Lara state

Librería del Sur has reactivated its headquarters located in El Tocuyo, Lara state, where they will offer more than 80,000 books of diverse narratives from various national publishers and the Cultural Economy Fund, including literary studies, poetry, history and politics.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, during the opening event, several artists attended the ceremony, as well as authorities from the entity such as the mayor of the Morán municipality, Félix Linares.

In this regard, Linares expressed his gratitude for the support of the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, and stressed that this grand inauguration opens a space for encounter, reading, knowledge and culture in general.

“The reactivation of the bookstore represents a joint effort to promote access to culture and education in the community,” he said.

The community of El Tocuyo celebrates the reactivation of the Southern Library, a space that promotes reading and knowledge; this reaffirms its commitment to cultural and educational development in the region.
