The Hispanic population in the United States (USA) will assume a decisive role in the midterm elections, where control of the House of Representatives and key seats in the Senate will depend on the support of districts with a high concentration of Latino voters in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida and Texas.
According to an opinion study by Associated Press-NORC, cited by Telesur, nearly 6 out of 10 Hispanic adults disapprove of the general administration of Donald Trump's presidency, while approximately 7 out of 10 express a direct rejection of the management of the economic environment promoted by the administration.
In this context, political analysts point out that the margin of victory of the contests will lie in the capacity of democratic forces to deploy and persuade in the face of a mass of Hispanic voters who still maintain a high rate of indecision in several of these decisive states.
In this way, the Latino electorate reaffirms itself as the most important oscillating voting block of the democratic day, demanding concrete commitments in the face of their main financial and social demands to tip the balance in the Capitol.
