Latam Airlines will resume direct flights between Santiago de Chile and Caracas on January 03, 2027, with a frequency of four flights a week, the Última Noticias website reported.
According to a statement from the airline, the flights have been scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with a duration of approximately six hours and 40 minutes.
The director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability of Latam Airlines Group, Juan José Tojá, reiterated that “we are strengthening Venezuela's connectivity with our main hubs in South America.”
“In addition to the operation that already connects Caracas to Bogotá, there is now the direct route to Santiago, expanding travel alternatives for our passengers and reinforcing Venezuela's integration with the Latam network,” he said.
This operation will be carried out with Airbus A320neo aircraft and is expected to carry more than 50,000 passengers during the first year.
With this decision, the airline adds a new route to its resumption plan, after having decided at the beginning of the year to resume flights between Bogotá and Caracas.
