Landslide leaves at least four people dead in Indonesia

This Friday, four people died as a landslide hit in Ende, a region of the Indonesian province of East Nusa Tenggara.

According to the report of the competent authorities, the landslide occurred at 05:30 local time in the village of Rewarangga del Sur in which four members of the same family, including a woman and two children, died, according to a press release from Xhinhua.

“When the landslide occurred, heavy rain fell. The tragedy occurred at dawn, while (the victims) were still asleep,” said Ende Police Chief Sudarmin Syafrudin.
