- Mrs. Josefina Pozo, 69, died at a time when Digepol agents were searching her home in search of subversive propaganda. When they found nothing, they kidnapped their granddaughter, the high school student Magaly González Pozo.
- Mrs. Josefina argued heatedly with the Digepoles. Hours after the savage police procedure, she was the victim of a massive heart attack.
- The elderly woman did not suffer from heart disease or any other condition at the time of her death. Therefore, the medical reports distorted Digepol's official report about the alleged sudden death.
- The agents built a fence around the house to prevent access to family and neighbors, and they also prevented her from being helped and died without the required medical assistance.
- Among the university students and high school students arrested that day in search of subversive propaganda were: Rosario Valera, Víctor Valera and Esther Misrahi from the Faculty of Economics of the UCV; high school students Magaly González Pozo, girlfriend of university leader Rómulo Henríquez (son), Miguel Bernal and Freddy Díaz.
