The governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, during the broadcast of the second program “With Maduro Suddenly”, together with the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, pointed out that the projections of support for Chavism for the presidential elections of July 28, as well as the statements of sectors of the extreme right supported by the United States, may lead to the abandonment of the elections by the opposition.

“I have spoken to several scrawny friends and they have told me that Maduro overcame the opposition when he took to the streets, so he shouldn't keep going out, lest they do what they have already tried in other elections, which is to retire or they sing fraud so as not to face defeat when they are lost,” stressed the regional president.

For Lacava, the scenario of abandonment of the electoral race has worked, if we take into account the polls, the street response and the 1x10 x7 prepared by the Maduro campaign command.

Previously, the Head of State classified as significant the data reflected by the consultancy firm IdeaDatos, where it is indicated that 51% of the population would vote for political parties or movements of the Bolivarian Revolution.

The survey also specifies that the candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole “Simon Bolivar” has 56% of the intention to vote.
