La Guaira will offer seasoners various activities during these Carnivals 2025

The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, said that these Carnivals 2025 will be an event that not only strengthens the cultural identity of the area, but also promotes the local economy and the tourism sector.
La Guaira will welcome families with various activities, such as float parades, musical performances, sporting events and community celebrations.
The authorities prepared an agenda, which begins this Friday, February 28, with the election of the queen of Carnival in the management of the José María Vargas Sports Center, after holding protocol ceremonies in Plaza Bolívar Chávez on the occasion of the celebration of La Guaira Day.
The Festival of Beaches, Rivers, Spas and Mountains will take place from February 29 to March 4, with recreational and sports activities on the most important coasts of the region, such as: Coral Beach, Candilejas, Paseo de Macuto, Balneario de Catia la Mar, Playa Surfista, Balneario de Naiguatá, Los Caracas and Bahía los Niños.
The calendar continues on March 02 and 03, with the traditional parade of floats, with the participation of 15 floats from public and private institutions, going from the Hugo Chávez Beach Coliseum in La Llanada to Catia La Mar.
In addition, Paseo La Marina and Paseo de Macuto will host three nights of concerts, costume contests and awards.
On the other hand, security will be provided for visitors, with more than 3,000 officials deployed on the 66 beaches assigned to the state and the support of 200 traffic guards, who will monitor compliance with tariffs in the transportation sector.
In addition, there will be four mobile health units and medical guards will be strengthened in the most important hospitals in the region.
For its part, the state's Single Health Authority, Nelare Bermúde z, announced that more than 70,000 medical-surgical supplies were provided for Martín Vegas Dermatological Hospitals; Rafael Medina Jiménez de Pariata; José María Vargas; Maternal and Child Care Center of Macuto and the El Niño and El Mar Psychofamily Care Center.
“Thanks to the commitment of President Nicolás Maduro and the Minister of Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, we guarantee the full operation of our health centers during the season,” he said.
Regarding the strengthening of the hotel offer, according to the Regional Tourism Institute, more than 8,000 beds will be available to receive visitors. The Los Caracas Vacation City will also be active to receive and host seasonal workers.
In the area of culture, on the Historical Route of La Guaira, more than 100 artists will participate, including activities at the Castle of Vigía and the historic center.
The Barrio Adentro Carnival Program will distribute more than 3,000 piñatas and toys in various communities for children and costume contests and shows will be held in six parishes in the state.
