La Guaira: 48 patients with high-cost treatments were benefited by the Government

The governor of La Guaira, Alejando Terán, led the 84th day of the Hall of Hope, which benefited 48 patients who require high-cost treatments.

Terán explained that the investment for this day represents 144 thousand dollars, “ last week there were 79 patients with an investment of 344 thousand and last month 208 patients with an investment of 1 million. In other words, in a month and a half we have had an investment of more than one and a half million.”

He also added that this amount is “intended for the placement of pacemakers, knee prosthesis, hip prosthesis, catheterization but mainly oncological treatments: radiation therapy and chemotherapy”.

“All these patients who have these life expectancies and have not only taken the social protection guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government, through treatment it is high cost, but a word that invites them to increase their faith,” he said.
