This May 5 marks the 206th anniversary of the birth of Carlos Marx, in Trier, Germany, the father of Scientific Socialism, who demonstrated to the world the causes of the exploitation of some beings over others, but also the way in which the working class could end this yoke, controlling the means of production.

Karl Marx, born on May 5, 1818, was a philosopher, sociologist and economist and developed an economic theory that provides explanations for crises.

Marx is the founder of so-called Scientific Socialism, a basic element of the class struggle that he undertakes, together with his great friend, Friedrich Engels, the son of a wealthy manufacturer.

His best-known writings are the “Manifesto of the Communist Party” co-authored with Federico Engels, in which he predicts the collapse of the capitalist exploiting class and the victory of the proletariat, as well as “Capital”.
