On June 8, 1972, an American plane attacked the area of Trang Bang, Vietnam, when a napalm bomb was dropped, where the majority of the attack were victims of local children.

The incident was captured by photographer Nick Ut of the Associated Press (AP), the image shows children fleeing the place, including Kim Phuc, a nine-year-old girl naked because of the severe burns caused by the brutal attack.

“If something happened to him and I had died, I think I would have committed suicide,” Nick Ut once revealed.

According to the photographer's statements, who after capturing the terrible scene took the little girl to a hospital but was denied care because of the girl's little guarantee of life, however, some time later she underwent more than 17 surgeries and is currently a symbol of war resistance.
