Judoca Luis Pariche wins gold in Bolivarian Games

The Venezuelan Olympic Committee (VOC), through the social network X, congratulated the Venezuelan judoka in the -81 kg category, Luis Pariche, who won gold in the 1st Bolivarian Youth Games Sucre 2024, after winning by Ippon in 3:17 minutes during the fight with the Panamanian, Christian Pitty.

On August 25, the native of the Bolivar state came in seventh place of -81 kg in the World Judo Championships, cadet category, an event that was held in the city of Zagreb, Croatia.

On that occasion, 17-year-old Pariche, in the first round, the Venezuelan passed bye and then faced the Slovenian Maj Kavnik, winning with a strong and explosive turn (Hikikomi Gaeshi). His second match was against the Israeli, Alexander Ronis, winning him by accumulating fouls (shido).
