Judge Damiani: We must maintain transparency in our professional practice

During the Solemn Opening Session of the Judicial Year 2024, the magistrate of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Luis Fernando Damiani, urged to continue with transparent work in the professional practice.

“We must maintain transparency in our professional practice, the credibility of our actions is and must be a fundamental characteristic of our institutional work, Venezuelan citizens have the constitutional right to demand that we carry out our responsibility in our functions,” Damiani emphasized.

He urged to continue with honesty and decorum, to fulfill one's functions and not to fall “into abuses of power whose purpose is personal gain and particularity. We cannot exploit our public functions to promote our private ends,” he said.

He stressed that his work is constitutionally based on the unity and collaboration of all public powers “with honesty and rectitude to resist imperial aggressions in all their forms with courage,” he concluded.
