The Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, Juan Ramírez Luces, reported that more than 5 thousand tons of material for rehabilitation works in the state of La Guaira arrived at the pier in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo, from the People's Republic of China.

“There are more than 5 thousand tons of material that arrived at this pier and in record time the entire landing was carried out,” said Ramírez Luces during a show led by the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

The official explained that the cargo includes 87 yellow-lined machines, 1,800 housing kits to be assembled immediately and equipment intended for the decent and safe clearance plan in the coastal entity.

Regarding the incorporation of machinery to work in La Guaira, Ramírez Luces said: “With this incorporation of this set of powerful machinery that we have in the state of La Guaira with the issue of collecting and removing vestiges, 89 fronts of work have been incorporated.”

The vice president indicated that these new fronts represent an additional 12 thousand tons of collection. “If we add it to the 14 fronts we already have, which represent an average of 21 thousand tons per day, we would be talking about a total collection of 33 thousand tons of material,” he concluded.
