Juan Carlos Monedero: If fascism triumphed in Venezuela, the entire Latin American left would have fallen

This Sunday, during the broadcast of President Nicolás Maduro Moros's Podcast, the philosopher and politician, Juan Carlos Monedero, was invited, who highlighted the profound crisis that capitalism is currently experiencing.

“Always, before capitalism in crisis, there is a popular response and there is always a measure, since the elites there is a counterrevolution within fascism, in any way we are going to find groups that defend privileges,” said Monedero.

He also stressed that “the Brazilian left, and the left of the entire continent, would have fallen if the plan of Edmundo González Urrutia and María Corina Machado had come to fruition.”

“Faced with fascism, there is always a mistake on the part of left-wing people that we haven't done our homework well,” Monedero said.
