José Santiago Moreno appointed as new president of the Venezuelan Mining Corporation

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, signed a resolution approving the appointment of M/G José Santiago Moreno Martínez as the new president of the Venezuelan Mining Corporation.
As reported by the newspaper Última Noticias, Moreno Martínez replaces M/G Carlos Osorio in office, to continue promoting responsible mining in the country.
It is expected that the new president of the CVM will be sworn in by the newly appointed Minister for Ecological Mining Development, Héctor Silva, according to the document signed by the Vice President.
