The National Customs and Tax Superintendent, José David Cabello Rondón, launched the extension of the headquarters of the Internal Tax Management of the Central Region, located in the state of Carabobo, with the purpose of modernizing infrastructure and optimizing workspaces to benefit officials and users of the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT).

According to a SENIAT press release, after clearing the tape and taking a tour of the new areas, Cabello Rondón highlighted the importance of the workforce, to whom he told them that “these spaces belong to you, enjoy them but take care of them too, work hard, work hard (...) be honest with yourself and with the Homeland, that's the most important thing that SENIAT looks good, do things properly, as established in the Law”.

He also addressed a few words to prosecutors in the region, in which he emphasized that the legal currency in circulation in our country is the Bolivar, so “the amounts are issued in bolivars, not in dollars or euros, the euro is not a currency in circulation in Venezuela, it is always the Bolivar, defend what is ours, defend what is our homeland”.

The recently inaugurated work has a dimension of 3,900 square meters, built based on a metal structure with anti-seismic technology, coated with a layer of protective paint that maximizes the durability of the infrastructure for up to 20 years. It has three levels: on the ground floor there is the Early Childhood Education Center, which has 5 classrooms with capacity for 21 children each, where the sons and daughters of civil servants receive comprehensive educational training in the maternal and preschool stages. On the first floor is the Audit Division, which has 150 new jobs that increase the number of officials that make up the region's supervisory force to 300. The 2nd floor has 3 auditoriums with capacity for 300 people each.

The Superintendent was accompanied by the Central Region Internal Tax Manager, Freddy Martínez and other authorities of the tax collection body, as well as by the employees of that management.
