The Venezuelan Astro Boy, José Altuve, shot his unstoppable, on the opening day in the big leagues in the 2024 season, in the match between Houston Astros and New York Yankees.
Altuve was the starter for the Astros team, being his 12th Opening Day of his career in the majors and in a consecutive way.
The Venezuelan is one of the six players with more than 10 Opening Days in the franchise and the third with the numbers.
In the seventh inning, Altuve caught an unstoppable from reliever Jonathan Loáisima, thus connecting his first hits of the season and his 12th career number on Opening Day.
