Jorge Rodríguez to the US Government: We will be very attentive to the actions they take in the coming days

Head Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Government
Delegation for Dialogue and President of the AN,
Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, said that if there is aggressive action by the Government
of the United States, “our response will be calm, reciprocal and energetic.”
During a Press Conference, Rodríguez
assured that the Bolivarian Government will be very attentive to the actions they take
in the coming days, which may be considered “aggressive for the right of this country to live in peace, to progress and to
have all the so-called illegal and legitimate unilateral coercive
measures condemned even
by the United States Congress” lifted.
He also
insisted that by now the US should know that “we
are not interested in your intentions to interfere in Venezuela's decisions.
We are not going to accept any kind of pressure or interference.”
In that regard, he invited them to
take care of their country. “We don't meddle in anyone's business and we won't
allow anyone to meddle in our country's. We call for mutual respect between the
two countries.”
“You were President Biden's envoys and we were the ones sent to President Nicolás Maduro, we demand respect,” he said.
