Jorge Rodríguez: This campaign promises!

In the midst of an event celebrated to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Commander Hugo Chávez's release from the Prison of Dignity, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, said that the mobilization recorded this Monday was one of the two most numerous registered in the country since the iconic march of the seven avenues, so, “this campaign promises!”

“During the mobilization held last Monday to accompany the registration with the National Electoral Council (CNE) of candidate Nicolás Maduro, the rescue that Chávez made from being Venezuelan was evidenced (...) that fervor that Chávez awakens has to do with the rescue he carried out to the country, since it stops the depressive process and turns it into a true rebirth and resurgence,” he explained.

He added that the expression of the People in the streets is a “real explosion of that fervor, even in the first act of the road to July 28.”

“There is a feeling in the People of charging - in a positive way - those who asked for sanctions and threatened their health and integrity,” he said.

For his part, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, added that this “campaign promises greatness, emotions and joy.”
