The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, assured that “the war against the blockade will be to the death”. This was stated in the chamber of the Venezuelan parliament during the regular session of this Tuesday, November 19, when he added that sanctions are a crime against humanity.

“It's a law or it's an act to exist and persist in some of the most aggressive actions our Republic has ever known,” he said, referring to the law approved in the United States and which aims to maintain sanctions against the country.

In that vein, he indicated that these actions are related to the extermination, mainly of economic freedom. “Doesn't Venezuela have the right to economic freedom without asking permission from some musites? They were wrong and we are going to defeat them again,” he said.

Rodriguez added that “the U.S. House of Representatives approves an act to attack Venezuela seeking indiscriminate suffering, which is why they are crimes against humanity (...) Our hatred against the traitors to the Homeland who support these acts of barbarism will be relentless and the war against the blockade of Venezuela and the sanctions will be dead, we don't mind leaving our lives for this purpose.”
