Jorge Rodríguez: The right could not kill the revolutionary ideas of the leaders of the 70s

From the General Cemetery of the South, regarding the homage for the 48th anniversary of the vile assassination of Jorge Rodríguez the father, the president of the National Assembly (AN) Jorge Rodríguez, assured that the right wing could not kill the revolutionary ideas of the leaders of the 70s.

Rodríguez specified that 48 years ago, the right wing murdered “a noble young man, a noble soul” for directing complaints against the “giving of Venezuela's wealth to the masters of those who governed.”

He specified that Jorge Antonio Rodríguez (father) was “tortured for 72 hours and murdered, and that murder marked the persecution and massacre of an entire generation.”

In addition, he said that this action was part of a plan to systematically kill left-wing leaders from Venezuela, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala; “it was a plan designed by the Schools of the Americas to torture, assassinate and disappear young leaders of the left.”

The parliamentarian pointed out that the example of his father “is the example of so many revolutionaries killed in the 60s of the 70s (...) it is the immortal example of Hugo Chávez and that moves Nicolás Maduro in a campaign that has been nothing other than the defense of life, which is the defense of ideas, of the highest ideas of humanity”.
