“The real protagonist of the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) is the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and its president, Delcy Rodríguez,” said the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez.
During the approval of the draft agreement in support of the president's participation in that multilateral forum, Rodríguez stressed that the choice of diplomacy over confrontation has allowed the country to move forward in the midst of difficulties. “If we had taken refuge in the arguments of the war, how many dead would we be counting? We chose diplomacy, which is already bearing real and real fruits,” he said.
Rodríguez described it as a historic fact that a woman born in Venezuela is the first president of the Republic. “President Delcy Rodríguez said that if she had to enter Washington she would do it standing, walking, with sovereignty intact and independence intact, and that's exactly how it happened,” she recalled while stressing that “this day must be remembered as a day when Venezuela set the tone and commitment to the world so that we can recover the full life that our sons and daughters deserve.”
On the other hand, the President of the Parliament referred to the opposition's criticism of the electrical system and recalled the impact of the seismic doublet. “The earthquake took between 700 and 800 megawatts of damaged distribution roads and thermos that suffered tremendous damage, especially in the center of the country, but we are going to fix it,” he said.
