Jorge Rodríguez: Positive impact of the 2024 budget will be seen in the coming months

The positive impact on the quality of life of Venezuelans, which the nation's budget for 2024 will have, will be seen in a short time, said the president of the Venezuelan parliament, Jorge Rodríguez.
During the debate for the approval in the second discussion of the Budget Law for the Financial Year 2024, he emphasized that this legal instrument will contribute to continuing the economic growth that the country has experienced despite the 563 unilateral coercive measures that have been imposed on it.
Rodríguez also criticized the position of some opposition deputies who, in a biased manner, have tried to say that, with the easing of 5 of the 963 sanctions imposed on the country, an immediate recovery of the national economic fabric should already be seen.
“Let them use the attack on the Venezuelan people through unilateral coercive measures for their political benefit because it looks ugly, it looks bad on them. If you in the year 20 had stood up courageously and said that these sanctions against the oil industry are going to bring down the salaries of Venezuelans, I would show respect for you,” he emphasized.
