The signatories of the Barbados agreement by the opposition are the representatives of the opinions of the United States in national political life, said the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez.
In this regard, he criticized that this right-wing group intends to repeal the voice of the entire opposition and tries to exclude from the national dialogue sectors that have not been involved in the dialogue table in Barbados.
“We are going to talk to all the political parties, here are 29 that have participated in parliamentary elections in the year 20, in the presidential elections of the 18th, in other words, they have more democratic background than many of these parties that are calling for abstention and non-participation. In addition, they believe that they are the only ones who can participate in politics, they are very wrong,” Rodríguez said in statements offered after the installation of a day of dialogue for the development of a proposed electoral calendar for the presidential elections of 2024.
