The National Assembly (AN) will fulfill its constitutional obligation to swear in, on January 10, the president elected on July 28, Nicolás Maduro.
This was reported by the president of the Legislative Branch, Jorge Rodríguez, who explained that any attempt by the extreme right to “swear in” the former fugitive candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia “is a foolish trap”.
In this regard, he stressed that, with the signing of the letter recognizing the Powers of the State, González Urrutia, shatters any manipulation surrounding the results of July 28 and his subsequent departure from the country.
