Jorge Rodríguez highlighted the friendship between his father and Ali Primera (+Maduro Podcast)

This Friday, January 26, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, told a little about his father Jorge Rodríguez's friendship with the singer of the People, Ali Primera.

“He (Ali Primera) and my dad were very close friends. Ali always visited him in the Maracaibo prison, where my father was imprisoned in 72-73. There is a very famous song by Ali called 'Canelón' that they wrote together and told the anecdote of a prisoner, a guerrilla fighter who called him 'El Japa',” said Rodríguez during his participation in the 6th edition of the Maduro Podcast.

For his part, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, recalled that in the parish of El Valle, where he also lived, he also used to meet Ali Primera at the stands with his guitar and guitar.

“You approached Ali and I was always ready for a joke, to energize you,” he said.

He also highlighted the great friendship between these two fighters of the People. “A friendship where the two worshiped each other, truly loved each other, two icons of an entire era,” he said.
