The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, reaffirmed this Sunday the absolute commitment of the General Staff to temporary camps with Venezuelan families who were affected by the recent earthquake emergency. Through a message released on his official Telegram channel, the parliamentarian emphasized that the Bolivarian Government maintains a continuous deployment to guarantee the social protection and stability of the civilian population in contingency zones.
“The General Staff for Transitional Camps reaffirms its commitment to families affected by earthquakes. We have enabled decent spaces for the well-being of our people, while we are moving forward with the peremptory deadline for the construction of new homes,” Rodríguez said, highlighting the efficiency of the housing contingency plans activated after the earthquakes of last June 24.
The establishment of these temporary camps is part of the first phase of comprehensive and humanitarian care aimed at dignifying affected citizens while evaluating structural damage to communities.
Rodríguez pointed out that these temporary shelter areas have the necessary conditions to ensure the well-being of families, while the competent bodies expedite technical projects for the construction of definitive residential solutions in the shortest possible time.
