Jorge Arreaza: Venezuela and its Government will respect the rights of its nationals

The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, reaffirmed that the People of Venezuela and the Bolivarian Government of President Nicolás Maduro will respect the rights of their compatriots, as well as repel the aggressions of imperialism.

“Have the absolute certainty that the People of Venezuela and their free Government will respect the rights of their nationals and, like 200 years ago, they will be able to repel, once and a thousand times, the ambitions and aggressions of the supremacist and arrogant empire in office,” Arreaza said through his account on the social network Instagram.

He also took the opportunity to point out that the elite of the United States (USA) does not learn from their own history, referring to the disastrous application of the laws on Aliens, Sedition and Foreign Enemies at the end of the 18th century, which led to a scandal in the North American country for the violation of migrants' civil rights and the cruel and discretionary arbitrariness with which they were applied.

For this reason, he said that the kidnapping of Venezuelan migrants in El Salvador, “under the protection of one of the laws of 1798, demonstrates that, since their birth as a free nation, the rulers of the United States have suffered and demonstrated the same racist supremacy and the same fascist behaviors.”

In addition, he asserted that the most is that “today they also have presidents of some countries who act as their lapdogs to participate in the imposition of similar and perverse laws.”
